Register for a Free Account
1. Visit the Registration Page: Go to https://app.therasee.com/register.
2. Complete Onboarding: Follow the easy onboarding steps to set up your account.
Confirm Your Email
After completing the signup process, you will receive a confirmation email. Confirm your email by clicking the "Confirm Email" button in the email.
Exploring Features with Test Data
To help you get acquainted with Therasee, we’ve preloaded your account with demo content, including a sample client profile called “Test Client”, using your own email and phone details. This allows you to explore key features in a realistic setting.
When you first log in and visit the Sessions page, you’ll find:
✅ Two demo appointments – one past and one upcoming, so you can see how scheduling works.
✅ A test client profile preloaded with details to help you navigate client management.
✅ Two sample services to illustrate how you can set up and manage different session types.
✅ An example invoice and session note to give you a hands-on look at invoices and billing features.
Feel free to explore these demo features-they’re here to give you a hands-on introduction to Therasee’s capabilities before you start adding your own content. Once you’re comfortable, you can easily edit or remove them to tailor your account to your needs.
Setting Up Your Practice Profile
Practice Branding and Identity
Navigate to Practice Profile > General Information
Upload your practice logo (this will appear on your client portal and documents)
Customise your practice booking URL
This creates your unique practice URL (e.g., portal.therasee.com/yourpractice)
Clients will use this URL to book appointments
By default, we create this based on the practice name you have provided, however you can edit this as you wish.
Location Settings
Go to the Locations tab
Configure online sessions:
Enable/disable video sessions for your practice
When enabled, clients can join sessions via secure video link
You can use Therasee's built-in video platform or integrate with other platforms by adding your video platform URL here My Online Settings
Add in-person locations:
Add all physical locations where you conduct sessions
Include full address details and any specific instructions
Mark locations as public/private to control client visibility
Services Configuration
Visit the Services tab
Click "Add Service" to create each service you offer
For each service, specify:
Service name (e.g., "Individual Therapy", "Couples Counselling")
Rate (this will be used for automatic invoice generation)
Duration (determines slot length in your calendar)
Calendar colour (helps visually distinguish services)
Assign to specific practitioners
Set visibility for client self-booking
Choose whether to process payments at booking
The option to Add VAT/tax settings if applicable
Configuring Practice Settings
Notification Preferences
Configure appointment notifications:
Appointment confirmations (Email/SMS)
Cancellation notifications
Appointment modification alerts
Set up appointment reminders:
Choose how far in advance to send reminders (e.g., 24 hours, 2 hours)
Select reminder method (Email/SMS)
Set multiple reminder times if needed
Configure invoice notifications:
Automatic notifications for new invoices
Payment reminders
Billing Setup
Navigate to the Billing tab
Online payments:
Connect your Stripe account for secure online payments
Set up payment processing for client bookings
Enable automatic payment collection
Configure billing details:
Add your practice billing address for invoices
Set up VAT/tax information if applicable
Customise invoice numbering format
Invoice settings:
Choose automatic or manual invoice generation
Set default payment terms
Customise invoice notes and payment instructions
Configure due dates and payment reminder schedules
Client Portal Settings
Go to the Client Portal tab
Portal access:
Enable/disable client portal access
Set up client self-signup options. (If self sign up is disabled, clients will only have access to the self-serve portal when invited to do so)
Setting Your Availability
Open your Calendar
Click the settings icon (⚙️) in the top right
Select "Edit availability"
Set your weekly schedule:
Define working days and hours
Add multiple time slots per day for different locations
Set specific hours for specific location
Create breaks between sessions
Creating Your First Client
Click "Clients" in the sidebar
Select "Add client"
Enter client details:
Basic information (name, contact details)
Date of birth and gender
Client status (Active, Prospect, Inactive)
Scheduling Your First Session
Go to Calendar
Click the '+' icon or select a time slot
Choose your client
Select the service
Pick the location (online or in-person)
Set date and time
Configure recurring appointments if needed
Click "Create appointment"
